The HP Deskjet 5550 sports an amazing 4,800 by 1,000 DPI mode for high resolution photos, along with a 17 pages per minute (black text) speed rating.
The Deskjet 5550 is a relatively fast printer with sharp printing suitable for both business, school and special purpose printing. Unfortunately it lacks the digital camera / memory card slots that many of todays printers have, however it can produce quality borderless 4x6" prints and switch between 4 and 6 color mode when supplied with the optional photo inkjet cartridges. Be warned however, the Deskjet 5550 isn't a small printer and it eats up ink quick.
