Dell 1700n Laser Printer Review Posted on: March 22nd, 2006
Dell have often been known for releasing low-cost alternatives to brand name, more costly electronics and hardware.
The Dell 1700n is an excellent choice for the small business or home user. With a 15,000 page per month printing yield and a 200mhz internal processor, the Dell 1700n wouldn't be able to keep up with corporate or government printing needs, but provides acceptable printing quality for small business or home users and gives the user the ability for a low-cost network laser printer.
The Dell 1700n sports a single 10/100 Ethernet port, USB2.0 and Parallel ports, however it comes without cables and does not provide connectivity for Macs.
The initial paper tray stores 250 sheets of paper, however the option to upgrade to a 550-sheet trade for approximately $99.95 expands the total paper capacity to a total of 800 pages.
